WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO BOOTCAMP ON MY FIRST DAY?
Bring drinking water and a pair of workout gloves which can be purchased at a gym, bicycle store or sporting good store.
MAY I BRING MY BELONGINGS TO BOOTCAMP?
Yes, you may bring your things to class but put them in a backpack that is easy and comfortable to jog with. We usually do a warmup job where you will have to carry your things but once we reach our workout spot for the day there will be a safe place to put them down.
DO YOU HAVE CHANGING FACILITIES OR RESTROOMS?
No, we do not have changing facilities or restrooms. Please come to class ready to exercise.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO BOOTCAMP?
Wear comfortable workout clothes as well as good and/or new running/cross training sneakers. Be weather appropriate, for example wear hat and layers during colder months.
WHAT TYPES OF EXCERCISES ARE INVOLVED?
The boot camp incorporates body weight exercises like push ups, cardio exercises like jumping jacks and core exercises like sit ups into one workout that will burn fat, help you lose weight, tighten and reshape your body.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A CLASS IS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF WEATHER OR I MISS A CLASS?
Class is never canceled. If you miss a class that your are scheduled to attend you have within the 3 week period of enrollment to makeup the missed classes on any of the other days, times or locations.
I'M REALLY OUT OF SHAPE, WILL I BE ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH THE BOOTCAMP?
Yes you will, all levels are welcome as every exercise we do can be modified ot be more or less challenging.
I'M A VERY EXPERIENCED ATHLETE YET I WANT TO MAINTAIN M LEVEL OF FITNESS OR MAYBE BUILD-UP MY STAMINA. IS BOOTCAMP GOING TO BE CHALLENGING ENOUGH FOR ME?
Yes absolutely. We have trained triathletes, marathon runners, competitive squash players, rugby players and many other professional athletes. Every exercise we do can be modified to be more challenging so that your are always progressing.
I'M TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT AND GET IN SHAPE FOR A WEDDING, WILL BOOTCAMP HELP ME DO THIS?
Yes bootcamp will get you in better shape then you expect. It will help you lose weight as well as reshape you.
I AM OVERWEIGHT AND SELF-CONSCIOUS ABOUT IT. WILL THERE BE OTHER OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE AT YOUR BOOTCAMP?
Bootcamp is designed ot welcome all levels so don't worry about where you are coming from, just focus on where you want to be and we will get you there.
I'M IN MY 40'S. WHAT IS THE TYPICAL AGE OF SOMEONE TAKING YOUR BOOTCAMP?
Bootcamp is not age-ist. Every age is welcome. Although the typical age range is 20s-30s we have had 16-60 year old people participate.
CAN I MIX AND MATCH DAYS AND TIMES?
Although we ask that you stick to a specific schedule if you MUST mix and match you can as long as you keep your instructor notified.
